The Daughterstar
In Soralia it is said that the first star of evening and the last star of morning is the Daughterstar, named such after the Dawn Daughter of the Skyfather and the Seamother. Her tale is long and tragic, as from her birth she is lost and proceeds to suffer every ill misfortune that a person can suffer, until the Seamother petitions the Skyfather to intervene, whence together they build a ivory boat that sails her to his kingdom in the heavens. Revered by bards, travelers, and sailors as she provides a reliable compass by which to judge east and west.
